Walmart had a blowout holiday

The company more than held its own against Amazon (AMZN) during the holidays. Sales in the United States grew 4.2% over the compared to last year, including a 43% rise in online sales.

Walmart's (WMT) stock jumped 4% in pre-market trading Tuesday.
