Donald Glover's got Coachella and a new movie with Rihanna this weekend

Not only is he playing Coachella, but he also has a new movie out.
Coachella kicks off today and Glover, who raps and sings as Childish Gambino, is the Friday headliner for the arts and music festival, held annually over two weekends in April in Indio, California.
Glover as Gambino is scheduled to hit the stage at 11:25 p.m.
But wait, there's more! He also tweeted "im going to be showing 'Guava Island!' on saturday for free after my performance."
The tweet shared the link to Amazon's announcement that it will be streaming his hour-long film "Guava Island," which is directed by Hiro Murai and co-stars singer/actress Rihanna.
Murai is well known for directing episodes of Glover's hit FX comedy series, "Atlanta," as well as his critically acclaimed music video "This Is America."
Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, told Vanity Fair she made the deal for the project after she watched the four-and-a-half minute sizzle reel that came via a one-time viewing link which expired 30 minutes after she received it.
"I would have committed to Donald sight unseen," she said. "I knew whatever he wanted to amplify would have relevance and be entertaining. He has that ability to create cultural moments and spread a message that's interesting."

Other Coachella headliners

As for Coachella, Gambino is joined in headlining by Tame Impala and Ariana Grande, who will be performing Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Other performers throughout the event include Kacey Musgraves, BlackPink, Janelle Monáe, Los Tucanes De Tijuana, Bad Bunny, Khalid, Ella Mai, H.E.R. as well as actor Idris Elba, who is also an accomplished DJ.
YouTube will once again be offering a curated livestream of the event, but for the first time will do so for both weekends.
Those tuning in to the YouTube Coachella 2019 channel can create personalized viewing schedules and will be able to catch moments from more than 80 acts.
